Here at UCC we don't simply want to invite people to serve, we want to help them become more like a servant, more like Jesus.  There are several ways that you can serve here at the church as well a innumerable ways that you can serve here within our community.  Below are a few of the needs that we currently have along with several of the partnerships that we have created here in the community. Volunteer Needs

safety team

Our safety team helps us provide the safest environment as possible when we gather in any capacity here at UCC.   At each of our worship gatherings, along with our Wednesday night programming and special events, 2-3 safety team members help ensure that any issues that arise are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. Ushers & Greeters

We want everyone who comes to UCC to feel seen, valued, and welcomed.  Our greeting and ushering team helps ensure that happens. From helping people find parking, to greeting them at the door, to assisting them in finding a seat in the auditorium, our greeters and ushers are the friendly faces that help make UCC feel like home.  If you would like to serve in this capacity, please click here to email our hospitality team. 

worship ministry

We are always looking to add talented and passionate singers and musicians to our worship team.  Leading the congregation in praise and worship takes a lot of different types of people and we are committed to using the different gifts and talents within our church. From vocalists to those who play the violin; from those up front, to those behind the scenes, if worship or media is your passion, we would love to talk to you. children's ministry

One of the biggest needs we have when it comes to volunteers is within our children's ministry. From holding babies to teaching our fifth graders, we are always looking for folks who want to serve and reach the next generation. If you have a heart for kids, like singing silly songs, and love the idea of planting seeds and raising up a new generation of Jesus followers, then we would love to talk to you! We as a church know that we are not capable of truly meeting the needs of every person in our city, We are incredibly grateful for the amazing work that several para-church and government offices are doing to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to experience abundant life.  Here is a list of a few of the key partnerships that we have.  Oftentimes, these organizations are looking for volunteers to donate time throughout the week to help them accomplish their mission and reach their goals.
