Remodeling a home or restoring a run down home always involves two things - out with the old, and in with the new. The restoration requires a removal of the old, broken, dirty parts of the home, and then an addition of new and improved parts! What is true with a home, is also true with the human heart. When we have fellowship with God, when He "resides" in our heart and illuminates our minds, we will experience a removal of old things that don't honor the Lord, as well as a commitment to start adding the things in our life that bring honor to the Lord. In other words, when someone has a REAL faith, there is evidence that a transformation is taking place. Let's walk through I John 2 together to see exactly what that evidence is/should be!
