How it all started...
University Community Church was birthed out of the Restoration movement and started in the fall of 1956. UCC has had a deep passion for the students at New Mexico State since our beginnings, and we still share the same love and passion for college students and young adults today. We are a very diverse group from all ages, brought together by our love for God and for the city of Las Cruces. Today is a place where everyone has a seat at the table.

We care about one thing - Jesus Christ. UCC is a family of individuals that have found life in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same life - now and forever. We believe that God is still in the business of restoration, and our desire is to partner with Him to change the campus, the city, and the world.

More than ever, UCC is committed to fostering a family that truly and authentically lives out the calling of a disciple and the role of the Church. As we move forward as a church belonging, believing, and becoming remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ. We believe everyone has a seat at the table and it is our honor to share that invitation with as many people as possible!
